Why Outdoor Yoga
Outdoor Yoga is a beautiful way to let go of stress and tension in today’s busy world.
The stunning scenery in the Peak District National Park is the perfect back drop for a Yoga Class. The health benefits of being in nature are well documented and science backs the nervous system calming effects of Yoga. Combined, they offer an incredible stress relieving experience.
With so many varied landscapes in the Derbyshire Peak District I’m able to offer a wide variety of Yoga experiences to sooth body and mind. We have walks through river valleys, yoga on the gritstone ridges of the Dark Peak, and retreat days in rolling Derbyshire hills. You’re never far from lots of other activities so that you can make your Yoga experience in to a whole day of fun in the area.
I started practising Hatha Yoga over 20 years ago and shortly after I started to practice outdoors wherever I was, with or without mat, it didn’t matter. I stopped caring what others thought and found myself present in the moment and practising in a much more intentional way. Eventually I decided to share this with others, so that they too could experience the amazing benefits of an Outdoor Yoga practice.
